Hey friends, thanks for stopping by today! If our eyes are open to spiritual things, we’ve all got pressing thoughts on our minds. So, let’s gather together over the next three days to hash them out! Let’s stick together as we dive into the signs all around us that tell us we are living in the last days! Please, pull up a chair around our virtual study table and prepare to view today’s events through a Biblical lens!

In Luke 21, Jesus taught His disciples (and us, through His written Word) about the destruction of the Temple and signs of the end times. (Matthew records the account in Matthew 24 as well.) He warns of deception, unrest of all kinds, and evil impersonators passing themselves off as Christ. But near the end of Luke 21, He says this: When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near. Those things have begun to take place, and that is encouragement for us to dig into what could otherwise be scary things. We will go with our heads lifted up, anticipating our soon redemption from this evil place!

Only those whose heads are in the sand think these headlines point anywhere other than Bible prophecy:

There are literally dozens of headlines like these every single week! So just how do current events that we see and read about tie into Bible prophecy? Today we’ll consider three signs of the time that answer that question!

Rise of One World Government

We’ve talked about One World Government often and at great depth. The Bible warns of one who will come (the antichrist) to establish a global kingdom in which he will dominate (Revelation 17-18, in particular). That happens during the tribulation, but we see signs of it today. Men like Klaus Schwab, Bill Gates, George Soros, John Kerry, Justin Trudeau and even Elon Musk, our current poster boy for free speech, are on the bandwagon.

Surprisingly to some, we also have highly vaunted religious leaders such as Pope Francis joining in the chorus. And it all revolves around a social issue: climate change! Sadly, it is the one thing (be it evil) various people groups from around the world will agree upon and rally around. So, it should be no surprise when clergy gather to promote “climate repentance!” Religion is simply a belief system, so the “believers” in climate change treat it as their god, and will one day use it to control the entire world. (Thankfully, true believers in Jesus Christ will be out of here!)

Rise of One World Global Economy

“Let’s just all throw our resources into one big pot, split it up equally (no reward for those who work hard for what they get), and everyone just be happy!” That’s what we’re being told today! “You will own nothing, and you’ll be happy!” 15-20 years ago, we would have said, “Are you crazy!?!” Yet, here we are! Need examples? We look no further than John Kerry and the World Bank:

The prophet Daniel interpreted a vision that helps define this idea when, in Daniel 8:19, 25, the Lord spoke to him about an evil one to come: Look, I am making known to you what shall happen in the latter time of the indignation; for at the appointed time the end shall be.… Through his cunning he shall cause deceit to prosper under his rule; and he shall exalt himself in his heart. He shall destroy many in their prosperity. We can’t say we were not told! Even today we are being manipulated by the ultra “rich and famous,” but it is a drop in the bucket compared to what’s coming in the tribulation!

Rise of One World Currency

I don’t know about you, but I’m pretty tired of hearing about the rich, curly-haired, bratty kid who ripped everyone off in the crypto world, only to say, “Oh, golly gee, Beaver. I didn’t know it would do that!” Get used to hearing about crypto….and if you thought it was safe, think again! That nit-wit proved it is not! Yet, it may very well be the currency that enables the One World rulers to control how much you spend and what you spend it on! (They can track it, you know!) Just as the Bible says, during the tribulation, those who do not take the mark of the beast will not be able to buy and sell. It seemed implausible a few short years ago, but here we are in the “new revolution,” and cryptocurrency appears to be the “magic ticket” that will enable globalists to manipulate us!

Don’t look now, but the Federal Reserve Bank of New York’s Innovation Center (NYIC) is about to launch a 12-week proof-of-concept program to push central bank digital currency (CBDC). In other words, the thrust is on to make the dollars in your pocket and the dollars in your bank account worthless! I’m not sure why we are not up in arms about this, but it’s happening just as the globalists desire: somewhat quiet and under wraps, with just enough curiosity to make the masses jump at the chance to “get rich” in a whole new way! BTW – who do you suppose signed an Executive Order last spring to make this a reality? Yep…that man occupying the White House.

Not surprisingly, God’s Word predicted an evil end time tyrant who will rule the world and control people via a currency he himself pushes forward.

¹⁵ He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. ¹⁶ He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, ¹⁷ and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

As we close for today, consider this: This is tribulation talk! This beast that rises to establish all this “One World” stuff is the antichrist, yet he will not come on the scene until after the rapture! However, how clearly we see this unfolding today! If you are one who does not believe in the rapture of the church (followers of Jesus Christ) and/or the tribulation, stop and think for a moment. God’s Word predicted these things 2,000-3,000 years ago…and it is playing out right before our very eyes! Who could imagine such things back then? They didn’t know what cryptocurrency was! Nor did they have any idea about global warming! They obviously didn’t use those words, but what the Bible describes in prophecy is playing out in today’s vernacular and today’s currency and economy! Who but God could do that?
