Our nation is in disarray. Our world is in chaos. We are marching to the beat of end time prophecy, as described in Scripture. 2 Timothy 3 warns of perilous times, 2 Thessalonians 2 warns of great apostasy, and Jesus Himself told His disciples (and us) what we could expect in the last days. (Matthew 24) And what do we see today? Those very things.

But, let’s step back for a moment. Is there any hope at all for our nation, or are we doomed to chaos and catastrophe? Yes, ultimately, what the Bible describes will come about. However, so many of today’s calamities are self-inflicted. What would happen if God’s people who are called by His name would humble themselves, and pray and seek His face, and turn from their wicked ways? 2 Chronicles 7:14 promises He will hear from heaven, and will forgive our sin and heal our land. 

Are we ready to take God at His Word? I believe some are, but we need more Christian leaders and more Christ followers to get on board! How about you? Are you ready to defend our country in these last days by exercising your faith?

Here is one Christian leader (and there are others), willing to work to restore what the locust has eaten? (Joel 2:25) He happens to be from California, but the principles apply anywhere. Watch, and be encouraged!
