SOURCES: America to Sign New Nuclear Agreement with Iran within the Next 24 Hours

According to some, Joe Biden is about to sign a new nuclear deal with Iran within the next 24 hours. It is a deal believed to be far worse than the original JCPOA signed by the Obama administration.

The fact is, Iran is almost certainly already nuclear. They simply haven’t worked out details of how to mount nuclear weapons on warheads that will carry those weapons to intended targets. It is also believed that the US will back off on sanctions, will advise our allies to do likewise, and the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corp (IRGC), the political arm of the Iranian military, will no longer be named an international terrorist organization. There will be no American win in this proposal. For the record, Iran is the largest exporter of terror on earth.

Why is this a big deal? Many reasons, not the least of which Iran has vowed for decades to “wipe Israel off the map.” But those in power in American government seem to gloss over the fact that Iran considers Israel only the “small Satan.” The “large Satan” is none other than the United States of America. Why on earth would any sane, reasonable administration chose to negotiate with sworn enemies? (The answer may lie in that very statement. It’s moronic at best and demonic at worst.)

So, what do we do? As believers, we do the most significant thing we can: We pray! Will you commit to spend 15 minutes in prayer this evening? Perhaps God will send a miraculous reprieve, and a change of heart on the part of our leaders. Perhaps He will supernaturally thwart plans to sign the agreement. Or perhaps He allows the agreement to go forward.

Any way you slice it, God’s will prevails and we must ask Him, “What is my place in Your Kingdom here on earth? What roll do I have in an increasingly dangerous and chaotic world? What can I do to be salt and light in a dark and tasteless generation? How do I prepare my family and friends for the times ahead?”

Believers, we do not know the day or hour of Christ’s return, and we should not be focused on it. Our focus should be on being about our Father’s business until Jesus returns. The day and hour are indeed unknown, but the time and season (birth pains, as described in Matthew 24) are upon us. Are we doing business as we await our Savior?

Finally, find comfort here:

14 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.

~John 14:1-3

There is no need to fear when we understand God’s promises! Be fearless!
