The Abraham Accords, one of the crown jewels of the Trump administration, were truly historic. That is proving out more and more each day! Since the Accords were signed in 2020, Israel and some of her Middle East neighbors have enjoyed the spoils and their common enemies (Iran and its proxies) are not liking it. New agreements, particularly with the UAE and Bahrain, have resulted in economic cooperation worth billions! Each are now flying to one another’s countries, and engaging in collaborative efforts in many different industries (including tourism).
The big names in the negotiation of the Abraham Accords were Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo; advisor to the President, Jared Kushner; and US Ambassador to Israel, David Friedman. However, additional statesmen and ambassadors such as Jason Greenblatt also played a huge role.
Greenblatt has now released a book, including behind-the-scenes detail of the making and signing of that important treaty. Here, he talks to CBN anchor Chris Mitchell to discuss some of those details. If you are a fan of the Abraham Accords, as I am, you will find this to be an interesting discussion. Enjoy!
