Friends, babies are under attack in America! Abortion has taken over 70 million unborn babies from us since Roe v Wade was allowed to stand by the US Supreme Court. Of course, we know the Court is now deciding whether or not to overturn that ruling and it has captured headlines in not so flattering ways. We’re going to devote prayer time to that in a few days.
But today, I again call your attention to a bill in the California assembly (legislature) that would allow the murder of a baby AFTER birth! (Learn more about it here.) That is unequivocally murder, and it must be stopped because what happens in California does not stay in California. There are already a handful of other states waiting to see what happens in CA in order to know how to push the same agenda in their states.
That is why I am asking you to please sign the Declaration in Defense of Newborn Life. Yes, it is a California petition, so if you are in California, PLEASE sign the declaration. If you are not in California, sign it anyway! Though it may not count “officially,” imagine the impact of knowing that people across the nation are against such heinous legislation. News travels….and some of us are determined to send the news far and wide!
Please understand my heart and do not take this comment personally, as I believe it needs to be said: How can we say we are followers of Jesus Christ if we DON’T speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves? Proverbs 31:8-9 is very clear:
8 Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves,
~Proverbs 31:8-9 (NIV)
for the rights of all who are destitute.
9 Speak up and judge fairly;
defend the rights of the poor and needy.
There is no one more destitute, poor and needy than unborn or newly born children whose lives are about to be snuffed out. Take a stand by speaking up! This declaration is only one of many ways to do so.

Blessings to you Diana, and thank you for the comments. Indeed, wish we could have met in Jerusalem, but one day in the New Jerusalem we will meet! Israel’s treaty with the Antichrist will not happen until the restrainer (Holy Spirit living in us) is removed, so though we won’t see it to know exactly what it looks like, it will seem very good to them at first. Sadly, the Jewish people will learn quickly that making a deal with the Antichrist is actually making a deal with the devil. What tragic days lie ahead. Thus, our prayer focus on Israel.
