A Night of Worship with Joshua Aaron

What a blessing it was on Thursday night to worship with one of my favorite Messianic Jewish worship leaders, Joshua Aaron, an American-Israeli! A fairly “big name” recording artist in Israel, he happened to be visiting family in the Phoenix area and led worship at a small intimate congregation. Up close and personal!

After opening with Gadol Elohai (one of my all time favorites!), we worshipped our way (in Hebrew and English) through many other favorites including Immanuel, Bring Us Back and his buddy, Aaron Shust’s song, Zion. We capped the night with a super special Hebrew blessing…but more about that in a moment!

There is nothing quite like entering the Lord’s presence in Hebrew worship!

Sharing a moment with Joshua Aaron.

I had a brief moment to chat with Joshua. During worship, he reminisced about joining in praise and worship with an Arab pastor, his family and some of his congregation from Nazareth. So afterward, I asked if that pastor was my friend, Pastor Saleem Shalash, and his family. Indeed it was! What a small world! We enjoyed a few minutes sharing the joys of knowing the Shalash family and the blessed work being done in Nazareth because of them.

Now, about the night capper…the Aaronic blessing, in Hebrew. Though he blessed us live, here is Joshua’s recorded version of it with his son, Max. Enjoy!
