In a goodwill gesture soon after taking office, Joe Biden cancelled President Trump’s designation of the Houthis as a terrorist organization, in order to warm relations with Iran and return to negotiations of the ill-fated nuclear deal.

Fast forward only 10 month and, though mainstream media has kept it under wraps, The Washington Free Beacon and other less-known outlets are reporting that Houthi rebels stormed the vacant US Embassy in Yemen, taking hostages and equipment. Those kidnapped were Yemeni nationals associated with the US Embassy and were taken from a private residence. WFB is reporting at least 22 others kidnapped prior to this incident.

In its usual weak response, the Biden administration has kindly asked the Houthis to evacuate and return all seized property. Can you imagine the deep belly laugh amongst terrorists who do not give one flip about what Joe Biden and America want? Meanwhile, a Biden spokesperson stated they “continue diplomatic efforts to secure the release of our staff and the vacating of our compound, including through our international partners.” (You can read the WFP article here.)

Sorry gang…this is not the time for diplomacy. Every time the US shows weakness, more blood oozes into the shark tank (Iranian regime and allies), emboldening them still further to take swipes at America wherever and however they please. This administration is simply too inept to defend American citizens, allies and interests.

This is yet another disgusting foreign policy mess that could easily have been avoided. But friends, these are days we must remember our citizenship is not in this world! Our worldly leaders will continually fail us, but King Jesus never will! We are visitors to this planet. Our citizenship is in heaven! (Philippians 3:20-21)
