Hi friends! I want to challenge you today, as I have been challenged in studying and preparing to share this with you.

Stop for just a moment to answer a few key questions:

1. What is your definition of “worldview?”
2. At the moment, how would you define your worldview?
3. How firmly rooted are you in your worldview?

George Barna, a well-known researcher and pollster, and now Director of Research at Arizona Christian University, presented a very sobering look at the worldview of Christians in America. His statistical results are absolutely stunning, and caused me to consider how solid my own worldview is and what it is based upon. His research indicates that no one has a PURE worldview, but rather a hodge-podge of various elements from different worldviews. But is our primary worldview based on God’s Word?

Barna was one of many very informative speakers at the recent Pray Vote Stand Summit in Leesburg VA, and he threw down a challenge to all of us as believers. Prepare your heart and mind to hear what God may say to you, then find 30 minutes of uninterrupted time to simply hear what statistics tell us about our worldview as Christians. The evaluation is not for the sake of defeat, but for the sake of encouraging us to “excel still more!” (1 Thessalonians 4:10) I’m joining you as we honestly assess our worldview!
