A Day in the City of God

We began our time in Jerusalem on Temple Mount, perhaps the most controversial place on the planet. Built by the Jews, expanded by the Romans, overtaken and currently ruled by Arabs and patrolled by Israelis, Temple Mount is a very unique piece of real estate.

Currently, the Muslim’s Dome of the Rock dominates the Mount, but one day the Antichrist will make a covenant with the Jews, allowing them to rebuild their Temple there. It will be short-lived, as in the middle of the Tribulation, the Antichrist will enter the Temple and demand to be worshipped. It will ultimately be Jesus Christ who, after returning to step foot on the Mount of Olives (across the Kidron Valley), will once again rule and reign from Jerusalem during the Millennial Kingdom!

We’re headed there, followed by stops at the Pools of Bethesda and the City of David. It’s a big day, so let’s get going!
