True, there is not much to laugh about when it comes to world events these days, but leave it to The Babylon Bee to come up with a gem! In difficult, and sometimes frustrating times, we are wise to recall the source of our joy. It is not the news, it is not even the satire emanating from the news. Our joy is in the One who is faithful and promises us refuge!
11 But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You;

Let those also who love Your name
Be joyful in You.

Finally, friends, be reminded of this: God is indeed angered by evil in our world. Some of it touches us all, much of it touches each individually. If you are burdened mentally, physically or emotionally by evil, be assured that joy comes in the morning. (Psalm 30:4-5) Bible students have read the textbook and know how it ends! Indeed, eternal joy is coming our way!
