It seems the name of the game in Biden’s foreign policy is, “Undo everything the Trump administration did, even if it means Iran gets nuclear weapons.”
Unfortunately, Joe Biden and his nest of incompetent foreign policy officials are squandering perfect opportunities to take what the Trump administration handed him and forge a potentially Nobel Prize-winning peace effort. Muslim-dominated countries both in the Middle East and Far East, such as Indonesia, desire peace with Israel. But an American third leg of the accords seems out of the realm of possibility. According to actions so far during this administration, it appears Biden would rather pave the way for Iranians to acquire nuclear weapons than to take center stage in a peace effort that would benefit many.
Caroline Glick wrote an excellent article explaining it all. Take a look at Biden Abandons Middle East Peace.
Meanwhile, if you haven’t heard, there was a huge oil spill off Israel’s Mediterranean coast. The IDF jumped in immediately to begin cleaning up the shoreline and saving as many animals as they could, and they have become heroes. However, just as Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel’s Prime Minister, indicated days ago, strong evidence now points toward a purposeful spill by none other than….yes, you guessed it….Iran. It is being called “environmental terrorism” by Israeli officials. (See the story here.)
Yet, Biden continues to decrease sanctions on Iran and work toward negotiations of a new deal.
On top of it all, Joel Rosenberg suggests Biden is making “a trainwreck” of US-Saudi Arabian ties. In a report released last week, Biden all but directly accuses the Saudi Crown Prince of ordering the murder of journalist (and anti-Saudi) Jamal Khashoggi. There is dispute whether or not that is true, but the more important thing is that Biden chooses to come down hard and embarrass a US ally, while saying not a single word about the human rights violations in Iran, where the regime is killing dissenters right and left. Apparently that is okay with the Biden administration. (More detail here.)
Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;~Isaiah 5:20-21
Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness;
Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!
21 Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes
And clever in their own sight!
