Yet Another Mysterious Incident in Iran

It has been a summer Iran would like to forget. Not only are they battling the pandemic and earthquakes, but many mysterious incidents involving Iran’s nuclear program and other infrastructure have been reported over the past few weeks. (See Series of Explosions Rock Tehran)

Yesterday (Sunday) afternoon, a fire broke out at a petrochemical complex, less than a week after a similar facility caught fire in the same region. Sunday’s fire at Shahid Tondgooyan Pterochemicals was blamed on hot summer weather.

Though Iranian officials have proposed natural or domestic causes for the multiple explosions, fires and gas leaks, many suspect covert operations conducted by Israel, intended to curtail the aggressive efforts of Iran to develop nuclear weapons and the ability to deliver them.

Critical events continue to occur throughout the Middle East. Iran’s race to nuclear capability, along with regional tension in Syria, and Russia and Turkey’s aggressive moves in Libya and Sudan appear to be continuing to set the stage for the invasion of Israel from the north, prophesied in Ezekiel 38-39.

Stay grounded in God’s Word as you watch what goes on in the Middle East.
