For Zion’s Sake – April 2020

Hi gang! There is so much to pray for during this time of crisis. Please continue praying!

Tomorrow, though, is the first Wednesday of the month, which means a worldwide prayer initiative for Israel. God’s Word calls us to pray for Israel, so as you stay home today, please carve out some time to pray specifically for the prayer points provided by the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem. Here they are:

In addition, there are two great opportunities to join together tomorrow with people around the world for prayer time via Zoom!

The first is 4:00-5:00pm Israel time (6:00-7:00am AZ and Pacific time, 9:00-10:00am Eastern) tomorrow (April 1). Just click the link below to open a browser and join the meeting a few minutes before starting time.

April 1 Global Prayer Gathering

The second opportunity is very unique. Also hosted by ICEJ, in conjunction with The Jerusalem Summit, Jewish and Christian leaders will join together tomorrow to read portions of the book of Psalms “as an appeal for deliverance from the current global crisis.” It is called “Calling to God Together,” and you may get involved via Facebook (any time) or Zoom (4:00-5:00 Israel time, 6:00-7:00 Pacific/AZ time, 9:00-10:00 Eastern).

Friends, these are great opportunities to get involved in prayer! Praying with others is very powerful, but even if you simply use the prayer guide to pray on your own, you will join myriads of believers around the world who are doing the same thing! Let’s flood the gates of heaven with prayer tomorrow! (If you are finding this after the fact, no worries! God is not bound by time. Pray right now, using the prayer points provided via the link above.)
