Happy New Year!

Do you have goals for the new year? Did you know the Bible promises a brand new life? Yes, 2 Corinthians 5:17 (above) tells us that, if we belong to Christ, we have become a new person, and that our old life is gone!

Who of us doesn’t have something from 2019 (or before) we would like to “unhitch” and leave behind? My friends, we can! Here’s how:

⁵ Trust in the Lord with all your heart
And do not lean on your own understanding.
⁶ In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He will make your paths straight.
⁷ Do not be wise in your own eyes;
Fear the Lord and turn away from evil.
⁸ It will be healing to your body
And refreshment to your bones.

~Proverbs 3:5-8

⁵ This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. ⁶ If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; ⁷ but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.

Walk in the light and trust in the Lord with all your heart. Then, see what He will do on your behalf in 2020!
