Did you know Shiloh, not Jerusalem, was actually the first capital of Israel? Indeed, the Ark of the Covenant rested there for many years after Joshua led the Israelites into the Promised Land. It was the center of worship until the first Temple was built in Jerusalem, and was reduced to ruins by the time of Jeremiah’s prophetic ministry.
Now the ancient city has been unearthed, providing proof that Biblical accounts of the ancient city and all that occurred there are true. Shiloh is one of the first stops on our tour this November, and we will see the evidence with our very eyes!
I invite you to join us as we study this, and other Biblical sites. Each week until our tour launches in November, we will post a study guide specific to one of the sites we will see in Israel. You will find the Shiloh study guide, as well as previously posted study guides, on our 2019 EXPERIENCE ISRAEL Tour Study Guides page.
Enjoy!
