News is breaking regarding a potentially significant Russian cyber attack against the United States in retaliation for the US-led strikes in Syria over the weekend.  Reports vary somewhat regarding the severity, so I won’t speculate at this point.  However, it seems fairly apparent that an attack has almost certainly taken place.

More to come, but the point today is to reiterate Biblical principles.

• God’s Word will come to pass!  This is not the time for finger pointing or criticism of our leaders, other believers or anyone else.  It is time to realize that what God says, He will do!  America is not Israel’s savior…God is!
• Regarding our country under possible attack, we need to fix our eyes on the Author and Perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), NOT on our military and governmental leaders.
• Things in our world are not falling apart, they are falling into place!  God’s Word tells us in many, many places (Isaiah, Ezekiel, Revelation, Matthew, Luke, etc) what to expect in these last days.  The prophets predicted it and we’re seeing it!
• We MUST trust in the Lord!  Earlier today, I quoted Psalm 20:7…some trust in chariots and horses, but we trust in the Name of the Lord our God!
• When we see these things happening in our world, we are to lift our heads because our redemption draws near!  (Luke 21:28)
• Believers…it is time to wake up and to commit ourselves to nothing but the Father’s business!  Are you praying?  Are you understanding the urgency?  Are you sharing truth with family, friends and anyone who will listen?  Let’s be found faithful when our Lord returns!
