A Huge Passover Thanks!

ICEJ Staff and volunteers

Hi friends!  Happy Lord’s Day!

Were you one of thousands who helped make the Passover celebration possible for those in need?  (See here and here.)  If you partnered with ICEJ in that endeavor, I want to tell you what you did!

  • Gift bags were prepared and distributed to 300 needy families in Israel
  • 175 Holocaust survivors and their families received Passover packages
  • ICEJ Homecare distributed care packages to 100 families throughout Israel
  • Food was provided for 1,578 new immigrants to celebrate their first Passover seder in Israel

I’ve seen the ICEJ emails and Facebook posts pouring out thanks to those of you who supported the effort, and I personally want to say, “Way to go!”  If you know me well, you know I am passionate about God’s commands to bless, comfort and support God’s chosen people (the Jews), so I am thrilled to know that some of you took part in this effort!

And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others. As the Scriptures say,

“They share freely and give generously to the poor.
Their good deeds will be remembered forever.”

For God is the one who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way, he will provide and increase your resources and then produce a great harvest of generosity in you.
~2 Corinthians 9:8-10 (NLT)
