Hi gang! I have great news! Former Chief Rabbi of Israel, Rabbi Israel Meir Lau, will be in Phoenix in a few days, and discounted tickets are available! Event organizers are enthusiastically inviting Christians to join this historic opportunity to hear the Chief Rabbi.
Christian-Jewish relations are important, particularly in these days when Israel becomes more and more alienated by the world. The Jewish community is extending an invitation to the Christian community and this is a great opportunity for us to cross that bridge!
Chief Rabbi Lau is the youngest survivor of the Buchenwald concentration camp during the Holocaust, and has an intriguing story of going from child survivor to Chief Rabbi of Israel where he has engaged political and religious leaders from around the world. He is a master storyteller and very inspirational. Think of this as similar to a pope’s visit…only from a Jewish perspective!
