500 Reasons to Say Thanks!

Hi friends!  Hard to believe, but I recently published my 500th Looking for the Blessed Hope post!  I hesitantly launched the blog 14 months ago as a way to share pictures and tour highlights during my latest trip to Israel.  Then, friends encouraged me to post parts of a Bible study I wrote and was facilitating with a live group.  Posts have also included current events as seen through the lens of Scripture, exhortations to pray, and encouragement to be ready for the Lord’s Second Coming.  Learn more about my passion behind the project.

Today, I want to share some of the most popular posts over the past 14 months.  According to the number of views, here are the most popular posts from the latest Israel tour:

The Mount of Olives and the Kidron Valley
Mt Carmel and Megiddo

Several posts during the Bible study drew considerable attention.  The most visited were:

The Plan of the End
Where Does Psalm 83 Fit in Bible Prophecy?
Fig Trees and Generations

Many posts regarding current events proved to be popular, including:

Gaza Terrorist: “Their God changes the path of our rockets in mid-air”
Christians Under Attack: Franklin Graham on Fox News

Finally, there were favorites as we searched God’s Word for Bible truth and answers to interesting questions:

Jesus: The Fulfillment of Every Jewish Feast
Amir Tsarfati: The Beginning of the End
Are the Biblical Medes Today’s Kurds?

So, today I am acknowledging 500 reasons to say thank you to those who have joined me on this journey.  What an encouragement you are to me!  It was really never my intent to launch an ongoing blog.  However, as I’ve seen viewers return day-after-day, I’m convinced that the Lord has called me to share truth via this means, and I am encouraged to continue doing so for this season of time.  I do my best to remain true to the objectives of filtering current events through the truth of God’s Word, encouraging  believers to be ready for the Lord’s return, providing insight into God’s chosen land (Israel) and God’s chosen people, and to call us to prayer as we see the end drawing near.

Thus, 500 times over, I say “thank you!”  I hope you enjoy the journey as much as I do!
