Is the President’s ISIS strategy working? No. New reports indicate that after months of US & allied airstrikes, the Islamic State is gaining ground in Syria. The latest.

Need more motivation to pray? How about this?

The Wall Street Journal article and territory map of ISIS referenced below caught my attention because of the very overwhelming territory gain by ISIS in Syria, and the lack of ability to stop them. Why do I find this significant? Read Isaiah 17:1 and Jeremiah 49:23-27. The prophets tell us a day is coming when Damascus will cease to exist…it will be utterly destroyed. There are many who believe that event could be the falling domino that cascades into the Northern Invasion, prophesied in Ezekiel 38-39. Meanwhile, ISIS is swallowing up Syria, a land of plentiful WMD’s (weapons of mass destruction), and encroachment on Damascus could set any number of WMD scenarios in motion.

Keep your eyes on Damascus, friends…and pray for a great awakening (revival) in our land and throughout the world. Things may get really messy, and only our Blessed Hope can bring peace. Pray for it!

Shalom!

  • FBI arrests Ohio man, foils attack on Capitol (Boston Herald) — “The arrest of an Ohio man for what the FBI called a foiled terror plot to bomb the U.S. Capitol and open fire on members of Congress rattled some lawmakers who said yesterday they only learned of the alleged ISIS-inspired ambush through news reports. Christopher Lee Cornell, 20, who went by the name Raheel Mahrus Ubaydah, was arrested on charges of attempting to kill U.S. government…
