Good morning, prayer warriors! Our day of has arrived and I am thankful you have joined me for a day of concentrated prayer for:
- The Peace of Jerusalem (8:00am – 11:00am)
- Persecuted Believers (11:00am – 2:00pm)
- A Third Great Awakening in our Nation that Impacts the World (2:00pm – 5:00pm)
Many of us in America are off today, following our celebration of Thanksgiving yesterday. Thus, our plan is to dedicate the time we would typically be working to prayer and fasting. We’ll focus our attention this morning on praying for the peace of Jerusalem.
Please take the time to review Preparing to Pray Confidently for the Peace of Jerusalem. Then, return to this page.
Now, go boldly before the throne of God to pray confidently for the peace of Jerusalem. No need to rush. Use these prayer points to guide you:
- According to Zechariah 12:10, ask the God of Israel to pour out His Spirit of grace and supplication. He promises to do so, so let’s pray until He answers!
- Also according to Zechariah 12:10, pray that Israel will look upon the One who was pierced. This means, pray that Israel will see and recognize their Messiah. Salvation belongs to the Lord and He longs to pour it out on His people. Pray until it happens!
- Once again, according to Zechariah 12:10, pray for hastening of the day when Israel repents, bringing about mourning and weeping (cleansing), as this will allow them to say, “Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!”
- Pray that salvation will come to all of Israel (Romans 11:26). On the day of revelation, when Israel sees her Messiah and national repentance breaks out, all of Israel will be saved! Pray fervently, friends!
- Pray that Israel’s leaders will be as the sons of Issachar, “men who understood the times, with knowledge of what Israel should do.” (1 Chronicles 12:32)
- Pray for peace for Israel’s neighbors. The Bible teaches us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44), and all nations are to be blessed through the Abrahamic covenant. All need to know the peace of God and the peace that comes from God. Pray accordingly.
- Pray that the Prince of Peace will make Himself known to Jews, Arabs, Palestinians, Bedouins, Druze, Persians, Kurds and all other people groups in the Middle East. We all need Jesus!
- Pray that God will confound the plans of Iran, Syria, ISIS, Hamas, Hezbollah, Boko Haram, Khorasan, al-Nusra and the myriad of other terrorist groups and evil regimes.
Pray confidently, Christian friends! Our God is a prayer-hearing, prayer-answering, miracle-working God simply waiting to hear the fervent prayers of children surrendered to Him.
