Do the Teachings of Muhammad Perpetuate Terror?

It is much debated…and probably always will be: do the teachings of Muhammad perpetuate terror?  It is a question that was addressed by Mosab Hassan Yousef in an interview with the Jerusalem Post in 2012.

The son of a Hamas founder, Yousef was born and bred into the ideology of Hamas and the teachings of the Qur’an.  Now a follower of Jesus Christ, he has unique insight into the mindset of Muslims and terrorists.  So, in search of the answer to the question, I will defer to Yousef:

Yousef is an incredibly brave man who understands the source of evil in the Middle East and is willing to speak the truth about it, particularly as it relates to the ideology of Hamas and the horrible impact it has on his people, the Palestinians.  (He is currently working on a film project to expose the teachings of Mohammad.)  For more insight, check out the 3-part article, The Furious Insignificance of Hamas, on his blog. (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3)  I also highly recommend his book, Son of Hamasbut warn you that it is a difficult book to put down once you begin reading it!

A couple days ago, we touched on the love-hate relationship between Hamas and the Palestinian Authority, and Yousef also speaks to that relationship toward the end of the video.

Praise God for His saving grace for all people, including those born and bred to be terrorists!  True peace comes only when the Prince of Peace invades human hearts, and no one is out of reach.  Our Lord Jesus Christ desires that none perish (2 Peter 3:9), and He is alive and making Himself known to Muslims all over the Middle East.  Please pray that many others like Mosab Hassan Yousef come to saving knowledge of Jesus as Lord.

If you don’t know the Prince of Peace (Jesus) personally, please know that His grace reaches to you as well…regardless of who you are, where you live, or what you believe.  Jesus is the only answer to true, everlasting peace.  If you don’t know Him personally, please visit How to Know God.

God bless!
