Hi friends!  Are you following the events in Israel and the Gaza Strip?  If so, you may know that the 72-hour ceasefire that commenced Tuesday morning seems to be holding.  I have seen no reports of rockets fired into Israel, or any other terrorist activity emanating from Gaza.  Dear Christians, please continue to pray that peace will engulf the area, and that the lives of Israelis and Palestinians alike will experience true peace.

Meanwhile, news has come out of Israel that Hamas funded the kidnapping of the three Israeli teenagers in June.  According to The Times of Israel, the head of the terror cell that kidnapped the three Israelis was arrested on July 11 and has admitted in interrogation that he received money form Hamas for the kidnapping.  Two murder suspects have also been identified and linked to this terrorist head.

On another front, I just heard the news that a huge pro-Israel rally broke out in New York City when a pro-Palestinian crowd began to invade a heavily-Jewish area of NYC!  Check out the video here, or read about it here!  Many were likely American Jews, but not all.  Praise God for Americans who stand with Israel!

Finally, miracles continue to be reported in Israel’s battle with Hamas.  I’ve already shared the headline that read, “Their God changes the path of our rockets in mid-air.”  Now testimony is being shared about how God re-directed a terrorist missile into the sea, and a cloud protected a unit of Israeli soldiers who were about to be exposed.  Take a moment to read, “Hand of God sent missile into sea.”
