Insanity in the Middle East continues!  During the Israeli 72-hour ceasefire, IDF troops withdrew all forces from the Gaza Strip.  Meanwhile, Gaza fired 72 rockets at Israel while the troops withdrew.  The atrocities never end!

Hamas agreed to the Egyptian ceasefire proposal, stating “on the condition Israel withdraws its forces, stops its aerial attacks and opens the border crossing to aid, as well as accepts our demands on an airport and seaport.”

Meanwhile, the IDF confirmed that all of Hamas’s tunnels in Gaza have been destroyed, and that 900 Hamas operatives were killed during the 29-day Operation Protective Edge.  Despite that, and resorting to using their citizens as human shields to protect their rockets, ammunition and terrorist headquarters, Hamas has now claimed victory in the conflict.

You see, if you are a terrorist organization, successful in turning the world against Israel, it doesn’t matter what happens on the battlefield…or how many citizens you kill in the process.  The goal of Hamas is simple:  Destroy Israel.  The more international support they garner, and the more international opposition to Israel they inspire, the greater their chances of wiping Israel off the map.

However, they ignore one key fact: Though the world may abandon them, God will never, no never, turn His back on Israel!
