Temple Mount

We began our day today on Temple Mount. This is the most controversial piece of real estate on the planet! There is not enough time/space in this post to explain the details, but suffice it to say that what should rightly belong to the Jews has been wrestled away by Muslims.

Spiritually, it is a difficult place to visit, as evil reigns where God’s people once worshipped, and should do so today. Yet Jews are unable to even visit Temple Mount.

BTW, Temple Mount is the platform on which two Jewish Temples previously stood. The last Temple was utterly destroyed by the Romans in 70 AD. Today, a Muslim shrine (Dome of the Rock), and a Muslim mosque (Al-Aqsa) occupy Temple Mount, and Muslims claim the site as their own. Keep in mind that Islam was not even a thought when the first Jewish Temple was built in the 6th century BC.

Evil is definitely felt, and even seen in the picture below. This is an actual marble slab on the south wall of the Dome of the Rock. Form your own opinion of what you see and whether or not it seems evil.

Evil or not, one day soon the Lord Jesus will return to re-claim what the enemy has stolen!

Maranatha, Lord come quickly!
