Senator Lindsey Graham stepped beyond earth into eternity a few days ago. A professed Christian, it is said of him often that he lived out His Christian faith.
Though I don’t know enough about his commitment to faith to make consistently accurate observations, I do know one thing: he was a staunch supporter of Israel. Some call him a war hawk and others accused him of “kissing up” to President Trump. I’m in no position to speak to those things, but I do know that Lindsey Graham took several other Senators to Israel following October 7 to build advocacy for Israel. He also spoke often and loudly about America’s need to support Israel. He (at least at times) had the ear of President Trump.
Here is how Daniel Cohen describes Lindsey Graham and his strong stance with Israel:
I didn’t always agree with his politics or his foreign policy, but Lindsey Graham got it right regarding Israel. Thus, it is important to give credit where credit is due. I only hope that South Carolina produces another Senator as committed to standing with Israel as Senator Lindsey Graham was.
