We’re starting 2026 on a positive note, by focusing on encouragement from God’s Word. Yesterday’s focus was on God’s goodness to do new things in our lives and our ability to throw off our old self in order to live as the new creation He desires us to be. Let’s continue with more encouragement.

¹⁶ Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts. ¹⁷ And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father.
~Colossians 3:16-17

Wouldn’t it be nice to function in all the wisdom Christ gives? God’s Word provides that wisdom. As we allow His message to fill our lives, we will function in it!

He has given me a new song to sing,
    a hymn of praise to our God.
Many will see what he has done and be amazed.
    They will put their trust in the Lord.
~Psalm 40:3

Oh, what joy when the Lord gives a new song to sing! Others will see in us what God has done, will be amazed, and will put their trust in the Lord.

Friends, let the message of Christ fill your life and be your song! You have more influence than you know, so let Christ’s work in your life be obvious to those around you in 2026!
