Christmas Eve and Christmas Day…what a delight as we celebrate the birth of Jesus with family and friends! I certainly pray this season is filled with hope and great joy for you!

We focus so much on Jesus’ birth (as we should), but what happened following that angelic night? We don’t know precisely how long Joseph and Mary remained in Bethlehem, nor what all occurred while there. Joseph and Mary were there for the census, so we can assume they completed necessary steps to accomplish registration.

Some time after Jesus was born, we know gift-bearing visitors from the east came in search of Jesus. We often call them wise men, but Scripture identifies them as magi.

As you recover from the feast and  excitement of Christmas, take time to reflect on what occurred following the birth of the Christ child. Here is an enjoyable episode to help provide insight. Enjoy!
