Good Morning from the Sea of Galilee!

After arriving in Tiberias after dark yesterday, I knew our group was in for an “Oh wow!” moment when they awakened. Due to small tourism numbers in Israel, we seem to get royal treatment. We all have rooms with a view, and below is the view from one of my windows!

Thus, I awoke earlier than usual to get a glimpse of sunrise across the Sea of Galilee and over the Golan Heights (where we will be later today). With the sites below as the backdrop, I sat down to enjoy quiet moments of devotional time.

As I settled into my devotional, this occurred (turn your volume up):

That is one of our tour guests, praising God and assuming an audience of one. How incredibly blessed I was by Him to be invited into the audience. There is no greater blessing on earth to me than watching the Bible come alive, witnessing a tour group bond as a family, and seeing the evidence of their love for Jesus demonstrated in amazing ways. This is a special group, and I am the most greatly blessed person on the planet!

The day has only just begun, so stay tuned!
