In September 2001, America was directly attacked by radical Islamists. Specifically, terrorists flew a plane into our Pentagon building in Washington DC, crashed a plane (believed to be headed to the White House) in a field in Pennsylvania, and most dramatically, flew two airplanes into the iconic twin towers in New York City. America was shaken. The skyline of our most prestigious city was forever changed. We tasted terrorism within our borders for the first time…and we vowed “We will never forget!“
Yesterday, a radical Islamist threw a throbbing middle finger at all of America, winning the mayoral race in the very city his Islamist kinsmen took down the twin towers.
We forgot.
Friends, terrorism has not only reached America’s shores, but radical Islamic leadership has taken over our largest city. Mamdani has vowed to defund police, give away free resources to illegal aliens, and increase taxes in “white neighborhoods,” among other Communist things. (The New York Post headline reads: “On your Marx, get set, Zo!“) Not to mention what he will do amongst the largest Jewish population in America. Imagine being a Jewish person living in NYC under the governance of a radical Muslim mayor. How safe do you think that is?
BTW – There is a reason Mohammadans call Israel the “little Satan” and America the “great Satan!” They have their eyes set on conquering the strongholds of Judeo-Christian faith and beliefs, and America is definitely the bullseye of their target. Yesterday’s elections were filled with victory by those who hate America and the principles upon which our nation was built. Satan knows full well he has already lost his battle against God, so he targets what is most precious to God: His chosen people, and those who call Jesus Christ their Lord.
Thus, a word of encouragement to my Jewish friends in NYC and elsewhere who are being threatened by the ideology that has plagued the Jewish people from the beginning: there is a place for you in Israel! The prophet Ezekiel says this:
20 When they came to the nations, wherever they went, they profaned My holy name—when they said of them, ‘These are the people of the Lord, and yet they have gone out of His land.’ 21 But I had concern for My holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the nations wherever they went. 22 “Therefore say to the house of Israel, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “I do not do this for your sake, O house of Israel, but for My holy name’s sake, which you have profaned among the nations wherever you went. 23 And I will sanctify My great name, which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned in their midst; and the nations shall know that I am the Lord,” says the Lord God, “when I am hallowed in you before their eyes. 24 For I will take you from among the nations, gather you out of all countries, and bring you into your own land.
