Hey friends, this evening marks the final meeting of a 6-week study taught at my church, called Why Israel Matters. From the tenants of the Abrahamic Covenant, we have focused on God’s incomparable gift to the world: the saving grace of Jesus Christ! When God called Abraham (as a pagan Gentile) out of Ur of the Chaldees, He called him to be father of the Jews. Through that calling, God made Israel the vehicle of world redemption.
In short, world redemption is for everyone! We all…Jews and Gentiles…come to Jesus the exact same way. We place our faith in Yeshua (Jesus Christ). Though most Jewish people fail to see Jesus as the Messiah, those who do are often on fire for the Lord.
If you follow, you know I often share worship music sung in Hebrew, English and Arabic. One of my favorite Messianic worship leaders is Joshua Aaron. Recently, he connected with another favorite of mine, Jeff Morgan at So Be It (a Messianic ministry in Israel) for a fun and informative video focusing on Joshua’s journey to the Messiah. Check it out here:
Friends, it is true. Israel is the vehicle of world redemption. Without God’s calling upon Abraham, there would be no Israel, no Jesus, no salvation! But in His goodness, God did indeed call that man of faith to be the father of the Jews. Because of that, Jews and Gentiles alike now have access to the Kingdom of God through the Messiah, Jesus!
I hope you know Him! If you are Jewish, I invite you to find out more about who Jesus really is and how He fits in your life as a Jew. Click here to begin your journey of discovering Jesus.
