On Saturday President Trump flew to Malaysia for the ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) Summit. Never heard of it? Neither have I!
I am no expert of presidential business, but I had to wonder, prior to the trip, why our president was going to Kuala Lumpur for a conference regarding Southeastern Asian nations. Perhaps, I thought, he was looking in to see how the peace deal is going between Thailand and Cambodia, which he brokered in July. They did sign an official ceasefire document while Trump was there. To which the Thai Prime Minister said, “If fully implemented, this agreement will serve as a foundation for lasting peace.” IF fully implemented? Lasting peace? (The agreement is based on a trade deal.)
As it turns out, the stop in Malaysia was the first off-the-plane stop in a series of meetings with the leaders of South Korea, China and Japan, as well as other world leaders.
Still, that first multi-million dollar stop in Qatar for re-fueling is highly concerning. Technically speaking, AF1 can make it to Malaysia without refueling, and if refueling is necessary, there are many other places enroute in which Air Force One could be refueled. So, why Qatar? And why were the Emir and Prime Minister of Qatar allowed onboard AF1 during the refueling? (That is technically a breach of protocol, though the president has the authority to break that protocol.)
According to President Trump, he wanted to honor the Qatari leaders for being a “great ally” and a factor in creating a “safe Middle East.” But why we keep “honoring” the world’s biggest support of terrorism is far beyond me.
Qatar, my friends, is the major funder, media/propaganda hotbed, and diplomatic cover for the Muslim Brotherhood, of which Hamas is a spin off. Qatar also hosts Hamas leadership in extravagant settings (while their citizens in Gaza bear the brunt of war), protects them, and backs them on the world stage. Hamas is obviously one of Israel’s greatest enemies, and the Muslim Brotherhood targets America along with the rest of the west. What in the world is America thinking in dealing with these snakes?
To make matters worse, America not only has a very large military base in Qatar, but we just agreed to allow Qatari F-15 jets and fighter pilots access to a training base in Idaho…on our own soil! Recently, Qatar gave the US a highly-decked out 747 to convert for use of presidential flight (ie – another Air Force One). Quid pro quo?
If that’s not enough, after two years of fighting Hamas in Gaza, Israel had the opportunity to take out Hamas leadership in an unconventional attack on their safe haven in Qatar. Israel cued it up, notified the US at the last minute, and launched the attack. Somehow, though, the terrorist leaders found out about the impending attack and evacuated the building at the last minute. Afterwards, Trump publicly and harshly rebuked Israel for that attack. Then, to pour salt on the wound, Trump granted security guarantees to Qatar, including considering an attack on Qatar as an attack on America. Thus, guaranteeing Hamas leadership’s safety in Qatar.
American anti-Islamic activist, Amy Mek posted this on X:
The man Trump is now praising as "one of the great rulers of the world" is the same man photographed warmly embracing Hamas chief Khaled Mashaal - the architect of suicide bombings, rocket barrages, and the October 7 jihad massacre.
This is not old news. This is the same ruler of Qatar - right now.
Qatar has:
* Housed Hamas leadership in state-protected luxury compounds.
* Wired hundreds of millions into Gaza under the "aid" pretext.
* Served as headquarters for the Muslim Brotherhood's command.
* Given political cover to jihadi clerics
*Maintained active ties with al-Qaeda affiliates and the Taliban.
And now we are clapping for him on Air Force One?
Qatar did not stop funding jihad - America just stopped telling the truth about Qatar. So remind me again: When exactly are we "banning the Muslim Brotherhood?"
Dear friends, antisemitic and anti-Israel words and actions are flowing not just from the radical liberal left in America, but from our own White House. As noted previously, I am tremendously grateful to the Trump administration for the pro-Israel actions taken during both terms. However, I grow exponentially more concerned with every bit of news describing Trump’s relationship with the Qataris, and with the administration’s overt willingness to treat Qatar better than we treat most other allies. We cannot coddle jihadists who have time and again voiced the threat to wipe Israel off the map (as the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas have done), yet say we are pro-Israel.
Biblically speaking, we have an obligation to love what God loves and hate what God hates. He loves His uniquely called people and their land, and hates terrorism and those who seek to harm Israel. Retribution is coming not only to those who hate Israel, but also to those who become allies of those who wish to destroy Israel.
Wake up, Mr President! God means what He says.
