While we hear that young people in America (particularly young men) are “flocking back to church in droves,” we see a conflicting trend among young people that is deeply concerning:

The church’s silence on Israel is deafening, and today’s young people are not simply uninformed, they are ill-informed. College campuses are loaded up with well-organized Islamic organizations that drill Islamic ideology into the heads of our youth. Furthermore, they are infiltrating high school campuses at alarming rates as well.
America, we are losing our young people to evil ideology, and it is the responsibility of parents and churches to instill Biblical principles into the lives of our children and young people. If it is true that young people are flocking to church, what churches are they going to? What are they being taught? Should we expect the trend to reverse?
According to TPUSA, young people (especially men) are looking for structure and for boundaries to guide their faith. They are fed up with the “feel good” church that simply tickles the ears yet gives them no hope in a world in which they are struggling to find relevance. Honestly, I believe they are looking for the meat of Scripture. They are looking to be taught well. They are hungry sheep in need of shepherds who will feed and nourish them.
Dear friends, the pure meat of God’s Word is what every human longs for. It is how we were designed by our Creator. God created us to be creatures who need physical food and nourishment so we can understand that we also need spiritual food and nourishment.
Absolutely, the entirety of God’s Word must be taught. But I suggest to you that teaching today’s children, young people, and adults about God’s plan and purpose for Israel will provide the foundation to understand our roots as Christians, and will provide a firm foundation. God is not kidding when He states that those who bless Israel will be blessed. (Genesis 12:3)
But read the rest of that verse! God called Abraham and his descendants (Jews/Israel) to bless all the families of the earth! What is that blessing? Salvation.
Friends, we cannot separate our Christian faith from the roots of Judaism. Jesus was Jewish, and He came to save us from our sin. That is why we are blessed if we bless Israel. Let’s teach our young people about Israel, and let’s turn the tide of “anti-Israel” thought back in the right direction!
