Recently, Anas al-Sharif was killed in a military operation in Gaza. Al-Sharif was supposedly a journalist for Al Jazeera, a well-known Arab media outlet funded by the Qatari government. This sparked outrage around the world because Israel’s Defense Forces (IDF) had killed the journalist and other “innocent civilians.”

In fact, an Arab-Israeli Knesset member, Ayman Odeh, even posted this following the “murder”:

“There must be no journalists in Gaza. There must be no doctors in Gaza. There must be no footballers in Gaza. There must be no children in Gaza. There must be no women in Gaza. There must be no people in Gaza.

And when there is a person there, he is destined to die. The army killed Anas al-Sharif, the Al Jazeera journalist, along with his team, last night. Because for the Israeli government, it is permissible.”

Yes, even radical Islamist have seats in Israel’s Knesset! It is not unusual for them to side with the Arab world, or in this case, Hamas! Indeed, the entire world goes crazy when the IDF “kills innocent civilians.”

But what are the facts? There is abundant evidence that Al-Sharif hid behind his press credentials to command a Hamas terrorist cell, and he is far from the first “civilian casualty” to be outed as a terrorist. It is not at all unusual for Hamas terrorists to pose as journalists, doctors, UN workers, or even as women. They often discard uniforms for civilian clothes, refusing to fight by international laws of engagement.

BTW – the Qatari government that funds Al Jazeera also funds and supports Hamas.

Recently, an Israeli security guard, kidnapped from the Nova Music Festival, spoke out for the first time, condemning KM Ayman Odeh and revealing that he was held captive by a “journalist,” whose father was a “doctor!”

Friends, evil reigns in this world. Good is called evil and evil is called good. Bad people deceive in order to commit atrocities. Hamas steals food from aid trucks, depriving their own people of food. Meanwhile, Israel gets accused of many of the very things others are guilty of.

It’s time to refute lies and speak truth! We are often quick to throw things up on social media without confirming facts. We are often quick to jump on a bandwagon without regard to the motives or truth behind the cause. When it comes to Israel, such lies circulate with astounding speed and popularity. The world is turning its back on Israel, and God’s Word warns against that!
