Are you experiencing hardship or heartbreak in life right now? It seems so many cherished friends are in the midst of those things. Over the past 2-3 weeks, just among friends, there have been challenges:

• Sudden unexpected and significant health issues.
• Death of loved ones.
• Long hospitalizations and tenuous doctor’s reports.
• Challenges in marriage.
• Wayward children.
• Unfulfilled expectations.

Likewise, I face difficult decisions regarding aging parents with important needs. Life’s challenges don’t take a vacation, and we all experience them.

But Jesus Christ is our eternal rock and we find strength in Him! Today, let’s join together to focus on Him and His goodness to us. Refuse to misplace hope in people and things and endeavor today to put your hope firmly in our Eternal Rock!
