There are times when I feel especially blessed to be an American Christian. Today is one of those times.

We have been blessed with a few good American ambassadors to Israel but Mike Huckabee is exceptional. He may or may not be the first Christian to serve in that capacity, but he is assuredly one of the most astute in fully understanding the Biblical implications of standing unwaveringly with Israel while also clearly understanding his role as ambassador.

For example, here is his tweet to President Trump this morning…

Please pray for Ambassador Huckabee and for President Trump as they chart the course for America. May they continue to listen to the voice of the God of Israel who never sleeps or slumbers, and may America stand steadfastly with Israel, despite the voices (even from some conservatives) uttering suggestions that we abandon our Israeli ally.

America First…and Israel also! The two are biblically and inextricably linked!
