Today is a very special day of worship and commemoration! At sunset tonight Jews around the world will begin their 2-day celebration of Shavuot. For Christians, we call this wonderful day Pentecost. One is very obviously Jewish and the other very obviously Christian. Yet, like every one of the seven feasts the Lord ordained for Israel (see Leviticus 23), the two tie gloriously together to point us to the Messiah!

My friends at One for Israel just released a short video revealing the astounding connection between the two celebrations. As you worship the Lord today, I pray you are blessed by the promises of Shavuot and the fulfillment of Pentecost!
