Last Saturday, Israel’s Under-23 men’s fencing team won the European Fencing Championship in Estonia. As the second-place Swiss and third-place Italians mounted the award platform alongside the victorious Israelis, each team received their medals and HaTikvah, Israel’s national anthem, began to play. What happened next was disgusting and overtly Antisemitic.

They chose to turn their backs on the traditional flag-raising ceremony simply because Jews stood at the top of the podium. (Read the full story here.)

Not surprisingly, the world continues to detest God’s uniquely called people, simply because of who they are. As our world hurtles toward end times, signs are everywhere. Wars and rumors of wars, overwhelming rise of ungodliness, the building coalitions God’s Word tells us will rise to prominence in the last days, and of course, evil enemies turning their wrath upon the Jewish state.

My friends, God’s Word is clear: those who bless Israel will be blessed and those who curse Israel will be cursed. (Genesis 12:3) Regardless of the propaganda and pressure from all sources, each of us must decide which side of the scale we will place our weight. I am determined to stand with Israel, and I hope you are too! The stakes are too high not to!
