Living Out Our Faith in Light of the Resurrection

Resurrection Sunday has come and gone for another year, but the power of the resurrection lives on forever! We can celebrate it every day! The question is: Is the Resurrection living in you?

What is it like to live wholly empowered by the Holy Spirit? I’m guessing most of you are like me, in that we have seasons of time we KNOW the Holy Spirit is alive and well within us and accomplishing His purpose. At other times, our lives seem dull or less spirited. It doesn’t necessarily mean the Holy Spirit is not working. He could be doing a powerful, but quiet, work in us to prepare us for something.

On the other hand, when our “power plug” gets disconnected from the Power Source (Holy Spirit), we lack power. We need to plug back in and allow the power of the Holy Spirit to flow through us. There is nothing wrong with admitting we came unplugged if we recognize it and plug back in! God is wanting to do a great work in and through each of us, and at times He is waiting for us to plug back in. (Here’s a hint: get into God’s Word! You will find power there.)

The resurrection is real, and the power of it is ours for the taking! As I encourage us all to plug in (or stay plugged in), I want to share some encouragement of a young person who has definitely remined plugged in. Meet Amir Tsarfati’s daughter, Maayan! You will be blown away, and hopefully very encouraged, as you hear her story. Enjoy!

Go in the power of the Holy Spirit, my friends!
