Welcome to the weekend, friends! Need a little good news? I’ve got some for you!
Israel is becoming a powerhouse in certain sports such as rhythmic gymnastics and martial arts. They are competing on world stages and winning!
A couple months ago, Israel brought home the team gold from the Ju-Jitsu World Championships, and many Israelis won medals in individual events. One of those medals, a gold, was won by Haniel Shuchman. Others won gold as well, but one thing stands out about this special Israeli athlete: He wears the name of Yeshua on his uniform!
Yes, this young Messianic Jew is proud to bear the name of Jesus around the world in a tough sport where other fighters don’t care for Israelis…much less one who names the name of Yeshua! What strikes me, though, is the beaming smile and the radiance of Jesus that pours forth from this young man! You’ve got to see this!
Praise God for ambassadors of Yeshua such as Haniel, and praise God for transformed lives among the Jewish people. Haniel has grown in his faith for some time, but there are Jews coming to recognize Yeshua as the Messiah each day in Israel. God is up to something…and I have a feeling it will one day lead to Israel’s national salvation! In fact, that’s what the Bible promises. (Romans 11:26)
Pray for more bold young men and women like Haniel!
