I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends! Over the past few weeks, EXPERIENCE ISRAEL TOURS (the tour arm of Looking for the Blessed Hope) took time to reevaluate and shift plans for our February 2025 Israel tour. As you may know, regular tours are almost non-existent due to the turmoil on Israel’s borders, fast approaching deadlines, and limited airline options for large groups which made it impossible to successfully launch our February 2025 tour.

Though regular tours are not forming, opportunities to roll up our sleeves and be the hands and feet of Jesus still exist. Since the October 7, 2023 massacre and subsequent attacks from Lebanon, tens of thousands of Israelis remain displaced from their homes and in need of assistance. Likewise, Holocaust survivors, the poor and needy, and soldiers also have needs. There are tangible ways to follow God’s command to bless Israel, and we are making it happen!

Are you interested in joining others on a solidary trip to Israel in February 2025? It may not be a trip for everyone, but we welcome 6-10 people who feel called by the Lord to participate in ministry-focused humanitarian projects.  Here are basic plans:

• Opportunities for meaningful projects abound and include such things as preparing and delivering boxes of food, clothing or supplies; engaging in meaningful ways (assistance/encouragement) with displaced families; refurbishing bomb shelters; and many other potential projects ranging from simple to more complex. We will find a match for everyone!
• I plan to be in Israel February 15-28, 2025 serving where needed, and will make arrangements for lodging and ground transportation in Israel, to be split between all participants.
• Participants may come for all or part of the time and, if needed, I will provide assistance in booking airline tickets.
• Needs change day-to-day, so we will not have a specific itinerary.
• We will secure lodging in a convenient location and will remain there the duration of the time in Israel. (Costs of lodging and transportation in Israel will be split among participants.)
• It is possible we may see a site or two enroute to/from places of ministry, but site-seeing will not be our primary focus.
• We will remain abreast of the security situation at all times. There are currently groups going to Israel for similar purposes and no one is obligated to go into any area they believe is dangerous.
