Hey friends, there is a tinge of excitement in the air. For conservatives, we are excited about an America First president. As Christians, we are also excited about a president who has been, bar none, the most pro-Israel president in history. There is a sense of relief in the US, and a hopeful excitement that perhaps we will see wokeism fade away and common sense take the stage.
Yes, be joyful…but also be mindful. Purely by God’s grace do we live in the greatest country in the world. No offense to friends all over the world…I think we should all think that of our nations! But despite the greatness of our countries, this earth is not our home! Believing friends, as followers or Jesus Christ, we should not get comfortable anywhere on this planet.
Instead, we must have Biblical discernment enough to know that God’s plan for the church (believers collectively) is coming to an end on this earth, and He will soon transition us to heaven in the Rapture. Then, His full focus will turn squarely to the Jewish people in the Tribulation that follows. But a very unique season precedes that…and that is where we live today!
This is a glorious time of anticipation, but also a time in which the church must rise up. Honestly, I wonder if God is not gracing us here in America with one final opportunity to stand up and live out our faith with the most incredible boldness we’ve ever imagined. What we see and experience today is no coincidence. It is part of God’s plan as He winds down our time on this earth. Why do I think that? Because He told us what the plan is, and it is coming to fruition right before our eyes!
Here is one very clear example:
Our mission lies before us. Let’s rise to the occasion!
