FINAL COUNTDOWN: Will You Make a Difference in the Final 6 Days?

When America is strong, our allies are strong and our enemies respect us. When America is weak, the world runs amok and evil dictators and regimes run rampant. When America is strong, Israel is strong, and that should matter to us as believers.

Yesterday, we drove this point home: Christians have the opportunity to make a tremendously positive impact on America. All we have to do is vote…and vote our values.

Where do you stand on Israel? I’m not asking if you agree with everything Israel does. I certainly don’t. What I’m asking is, “Where do you stand on the Biblical mandate to support Israel?” (Genesis 12:3, Joel 3:2, Isaiah 40, and many other passages) Which way do you want the scales of blessing and curses to tip? I’m all in for Israel because God is all in for Israel!

That should impact whether or not we vote, and how we vote. Obedience to God’s command includes choosing to vote for candidates who stand with Israel! Let’s be totally blunt: there is one party whose platform includes standing with Israel, and one party whose platform opposes Israel. And the candidates are following suit. Like him or hate him, Donald Trump has been the most pro-Israel president in Israel’s history. Harris, on the other hand, totally snubs Netanyahu on state visits, as she did when he spoke to a joint session of Congress earlier this year. Furthermore, the current Bidden/Harris administration has withheld weapons that Israel has already purchased from America, AND has continually tied Israel’s hands behind their backs by pressuring them to cut a peace deal with the savage terrorists who brutally murdered and kidnapped innocent Israeli citizens on October 7, 2023.

This I can say with surety: Republican candidates are MUCH MORE favorable to Israel than Democrats. Why? Because each party platform demands it, and the Democrat party’s ideology is anti-Israel.

So, here is my plea: please vote! Most, if not all, states allow early voting, so vote now! Don’t wait until election day when all sorts of things could go wrong. Most states allow mail in voting. If that is how you choose to vote, please do it! Some states, such as my home state of Arizona, allow you to take your mail-in ballot to an early-voting place and drop it off. It doesn’t get any easier than that!

Regardless of how you vote (mail-in, early voting, election day voting), just make sure you vote! We are commanded by God to engage civically, and it is our blessed privilege as Americans to do so. Christians can turn America back toward righteousness, but we must vote to do so. Be a faithful steward of the treasure God has given you…the treasure of voting!
