Happy Monday, friends! Shall we start the work week on a positive note? In a chaotic world, that’s sounds like a good idea!
If you follow, you have met Pastor Saleem Shalash and Pastor Israel Pochtar, and if you have been to Israel with me, you have met one or both of them in person! You already know the depths of incredible ministry these two brothers in Christ share.
But for those who don’t know them, one is Arab, the other is Jew and they both love Jesus with their whole hearts. Their families also love each other! Without a doubt, God has called these two warriors of the Kingdom to build bridges of love and hope between their kinsmen. At times, their congregations join together to spread the love of Jesus and to bless ALL the people of Israel.
But I want you to actually see and sense the brotherly love between them, as evidenced by a recent discipleship conference they did together. Check out this 3-minute video…
Friends, as you watch the horrific things take place in the Middle East, be reminded that the love of Jesus can stretch between warring tribes and nations, and bridges of peace are possible when Jesus is at the center.
PS: In the video, Pastor Israel told us why discipleship at the Sea of Galilee is so impactful. Tomorrow we’ll find out more about that, so be sure to check in tomorrow for an up close and personal look at that wonderful place!
See you then!
