Believing friends, God hears our prayers! As a proud parent longs to hear from their children, so God longs to hear from us. Particularly when we pray according to His will. Yesterday, we focused on prayer for Israel, specifically using Isaiah 62 as a guideline for prayer. As the Hebrew calendar turned to Tisha B’Av and all the tragedies that have befallen Israel, we asked the God of Israel to thwart the enemy’s evil plans to attack on that fateful day. God is no genie in a bottle, but I do believe He hears our prayers and honors petitions that align with His will.

Regardless of how bleak things may appear through our human eyes, there is ample reason to continue to praise the Lord! Our God is worthy, and He is mighty to save. He is also protecting Israel even in the midst of these dark days.

Will Tisha B’Av prove to be another prophetic day of tragedy? As this post drops, we are well through half the day and neither Iran nor its proxies have launched all-out attacks on Israel. I believe the God of Israel is holding them back!
