Hey friends, two of my favorite Israeli ministries are partners, and the two leaders are men of God whose work I have admired for many years. Those men are Joel Rosenberg, founder of The Joshua Fund, and Saleem Shalash, pastor of Home of Jesus the King, an Arab-dominant Christian congregation and humanitarian center.

One of our most impactful tour stops in Israel is at Home of Jesus the King, where we meet Pastor Saleem! An energetic servant of the Lord, Saleem never runs out of ideas and opportunities to build bridges between Jews and Arabs. Home of Jesus the King distributes food, clothing, hygiene kits and humanitarian aid to elderly and needy people throughout Nazareth (Jesus’ hometown) and beyond. Pastor Saleem often partners with other dynamic pastors in ministry to others. Being the hands and feet of Jesus in a difficult area is not always easy, but is unbelievably rewarding. No one does it better than HJTK!

The Joshua Fund is a large ministry committed to educating and building up Jewish and Arab Christian leaders and providing for those in need. Home of Jesus the King is only one of many local ministries The Joshua Fund partners with to reach into the towns and neighborhoods of Israel with the love of Jesus.
