Since Satan was cast from heaven (Isaiah 14:12-15), demonic evil has inhabited the world. Throughout history, monsters such as Joseph Stalin, Pol Pot, Adolf Hitler and others have terrorized the world. Today, monsters such as Yahya Sinwar (leader of Hamas in Gaza) still seek to spread terror.

Sinwar is the mastermind behind all that is going on in Gaza, and is the lead negotiator for peace. It is no secret that Hamas terrorists use Gaza citizens as human shields. Shockingly, Sinwar is now on record as stating that civilian deaths are a “necessary sacrifice” and actually bolster the cause of Hamas and that Israel is “right where we want them.” (Here is evidence of that.)

There are two incredibly horrific facts related to his statements:

1. Sinwar has made it abundantly clear that killing his own citizens is not only condoned, but encouraged. How ironic that IDF soldiers take extreme precautionary measures not to harm citizens of Gaza, while Hamas’ own leader wishes them dead. It doesn’t get much sicker and disgusting than that. But perhaps just as disgusting…
2. Despite the confession of Sinwar, Joe Biden’s administration remains resolute in pressing ahead to achieve a peace deal. How in the world do you negotiate for peace with a man who says he WANTS more civilians to die. If he doesn’t care for his own people, there is no chance he is serious about peace with people he hates.

My friends, we have often stated here that Israel and the US should be inextricably linked. We share spiritual roots, common values, and democratic forms of government. At one time, we represented decency and goodwill for our allies, but that is clearly not the case under the Biden administration.

For those who believe elections do not matter, please think again. There are spiritual issues at stake and only spiritually alive believers in Jesus Christ have the capability to beseech our Lord and Savior on behalf of our nation. We should be the greatest warriors for leaders who stand for values we hold dear. The only way to defeat evil is to drown it in truth and destroy it with righteousness. Those key weapons of spiritual warfare are bestowed only by our sovereign God.

Believers, let’s enter the arena. Please pray for Israel as Scripture commands, and please be faithful to vote your values in upcoming elections. Spiritual principles are at stake.
