Is it Incompetence…or On Purpose?

On October 7, 2023, Hamas unleashed one of the most heinous attacks on innocent civilians the world has ever witnessed. Overwhelming, undisputable evidence leaves no doubt of the atrocities of that day.

Young girls and women were raped in front of their families. Men, women and children were shot point-blank. Babies were burned alive in ovens. Bodies were disgustingly dismembered. Entire families were burned alive as they clung to one another. Terrorists called their families to boast of the number of Jews they personally killed with their bare hands. Dead and alive kidnap victims were paraded through Gaza to the cheers and extreme celebration by “innocent Gazans.”

All of it caught on the terrorists’ own phones and go pros.

The world was aghast and supported Israel’s right to defend themselves…for a few short weeks. Then, the world turned on Israel.

Unfortunately, the world’s most powerful position is held by a man who struggles to string coherent sentences together before finding his way off a stage. A large security team waits in the wings to make sure he doesn’t physically stumble or answer any questions he “doesn’t have permission” to answer.

That man is Joe Biden and he is struggling in his electoral campaign to continue residence at the White House. In that struggle, he must appease terror-loving radicals who supported him in big numbers in 2020 but threaten to abandon him in 2024. Along with other demographics considering whether or not he will perform to their demands, Biden is in a “must win” situation with the radicals who want to see Israel destroyed.

Is it any wonder he has put Israel, and particularly Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in precarious positions in the war against Hamas, and the stability of the Israeli government. He would rather kowtow to pressure than stand with America’s greatest ally in the Middle East. By forcing delays and withholding much needed armaments, the Biden administration has made it as difficult as possible for Israel to get the job done against Hamas. Additionally, Joe Biden himself has outright lied on more than one occasion regarding proposed deals to return hostages and end the war.

His latest falsehood was putting forth a peace deal he said was proposed by Israel. However, it included ending the war without getting all the hostages home. Despite that being a non-starter for Israel, Biden passed it off as an Israeli offer to Hamas, again creating internal pressure on Netanyahu from hostage families who are now pressing Netanyahu to do ANY deal to get hostages home, regardless of the cost to Israel as a nation. Reality: Hamas will NEVER give up all the hostages, as they are “insurance policies” (human shields) to keep Hamas leaders alive. Only intense military pressure will provide any chance of getting hostages back home.

An unidentified (and unendorsed) person online described the situation like this:

Yet again, Biden's incompetence is making everything worse. This all started when Israel relayed a hostage deal to Biden that had undisclosed conditions. Biden then decided to make his own deal and pass it off like Israel was the one who came up with it. We saw this in his first public speech on Friday (June 31, 2024), where he said that Israel agreed to a ceasefire. This speech was 100% directed at his pro-Hamas voters in a sad attempt to sway them to his side yet again.

Israel immediately responded by saying that this was incorrect and that they never agreed to stop the war. However, this caused a political firestorm in Israel, especially when Bibi's coalition partners threatened to withdraw from and break the government.

When Hamas realized that what Biden was saying was not true and that Israel would not stop the war, they issued a statement today (June 4) that there was nothing to negotiate for, in effect rejecting Biden's fantasy deal and Israel's legitimate one. Israel's War Cabinet is now asking for a guarantee from Biden that Israel can resume the fighting after Phase I of the deal.

In conclusion, Biden has emboldened Hamas once more and made it much more difficult to actually get a deal done.

So, you decide. Is the problem one of incompetence or is it intentional? At this point, does it even matter?

What does matter, American friends, is this: If you don’t believe your vote matters, think again. Who sits in the Oval Office matters! Our Biblical mandate is to bless Israel. The current administration is doing the exact opposite. Woe to America.

Please….pray, plan, and vote your values. (Not just for president, but for every elected position and ballot initiative.) It is our Christian obligation, and the only chance we have that our nation will bless Israel.
