Yesterday we focused on a source of evil attacking Israel every day. Today, we’ll set our sights on another evil plaguing Israel.

Within the United Nations, there is a specific agency dedicated only to provide aid to Palestinian refugees. It is known as UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees).

No other people group in the world has its own UN relief agency. The general UN agency, UNHCR, aids the remaining 99% of the world’s refugees. Billions of dollars flow through UNRWA each year, led by over $400 million from the US.

What do we get for our hard-earned tax dollars? Direct, unabated support for terrorists.

• At least 12 UNRWA employees took part in the actual attack in Israel on October 7.
• At least 10% of the staff is verified to be part of the Hamas terror organization.
• Countless tunnels have been found connecting many UNRWA facilities to the underground network of terror.
• To date, at least 4 dead hostage bodies have been recovered in tunnels beneath UNRWA facilities.
• At least two UNRWA teachers are known to have retained hostages in their homes.
• 130 UNRWA teachers publicly praised the massacre.
• Roughly 3,000 UNRWA teachers glorified the massacre via Telegram.
• Hamas launch sites have been found in many UNRWA facilities, including elementary schools.
• Dozens of UNRWA aid workers in hospitals cooperated with Hamas.

The list could go on-and-on, but suffice it to say, for all intent and purpose, UNRWA is Hamas. Yet, the aid continues to flow.

Understandably, the Israeli Knesset is working to name UNRWA a terror organization. A bill introduced by an Israel Beytenu MK would sever ties with the relief organization and, more importantly, send a message to the world that Israel refuses to recognize the legitimacy of UNRWA.

On a much broader scale, the UN has done nothing but demonize Israel since its inception in 1945. Despite their stated mission “to maintain international peace and security, develop friendly relations among nations, achieve international cooperation, and serve as a centre for harmonizing the actions of nations,” the UN has consistently singled out Israel via sanctions and resolutions, while turning a blind eye to atrocities around the world.

Need a clear and obvious example? While UNRWA members engage in terrorism against innocent Israeli civilians, then lead the world in condemning killing of “innocent civilians” in Gaza, Russia intentionally targets civilian areas in Ukraine and murders truly innocent citizens by the thousands! What do we hear from the UN? Crickets!

Likewise, 2,000 people were just buried alive in a landslide in Papua New Guinea. True, it has been reported in the news, but neither the UN, America nor anyone else is rushing to deliver the same degree of aid and assistance offered to Gazans. Where is the outrage?

It is time for UNRWA to join the list of terror organizations, and time for the UN to be defunded. I pray the next American administration gains its senses and fully commits to stand with Israel.
