Like many of you, I hang my head in disgrace of what Joe Biden is doing to Israel. It is disgraceful, not only politically, but also spiritually. Biblically speaking (Genesis 12:3 and Joel 3:2, for example), our nation’s leaders have crossed the line when it comes to Israel, and short of God’s unmerited mercy, we can expect America to pay a heavy price.

Joel Rosenberg hit the nail on the head in his recent article, Biden acting like a man who wants Israel to lose war with Hamas – has he no shame? In it, he appropriately condemns Biden’s choice to side with Hamas by throwing our closest ally in the region (Israel) under the bus. I encourage you to read the article:

My senses tell me I’m likely preaching to the choir. The vast majority already know this and believe as I do that demonic influence is dwelling in the White House and the current administration. So, what’s the point?

Good question!

It is time for people of moral character to rise up and say, “We have had enough!” We can’t wait until election day (though we most obviously should vote our values), we must be voices of righteousness wherever we are and at every opportunity. Only the Spirit of God can change America, and it must begin with the PEOPLE of God.

Ideas:

• Don’t let a gathering of friends go by without making it known that you stand with Israel, and why. Encourage others to take a Biblical view of Israel.
• Gather a few friends, either live, on the phone, or on Zoom and spend 15 minutes praying, as God’s Word commands us, for the land of Israel. Need guidance? Use Psalm 122 or Isaiah 62.
• Call, text or email the White House and tell Joe Biden to give Israel what they need to fight a war of survival. 302-404-0880 (Text), 202-456-1111 (Leave a Comment), http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact to leave a written comment. For best results, state your case briefly and succinctly without outrage, anger or frustration. Remain factual. Here is a sample: “As an American citizen, I stand firmly against Joe Biden’s refusal to provide necessary weapons to Israel in their war with Hamas. It is unconscionable for America to turn her back on our greatest ally. As did our founding fathers, I believe God is serious when He says those who curse Israel will be cursed. Please don’t take America down that path. Give Israel what she needs to defeat Hamas.”
• Contact your Senators and Representatives in Congress as well, and encourage them to stand firm in support of Israel.
• Use your voices and your social media influence! We are each only one person, but if each of us encourages only a few others….who encourage a few others…we can make a difference. Don’t be shy! Share resources such as this.
